Honda X-ADV 750 rental in Phuket, delivered to your hotel
You're not looking for "a scooter" or "some big bike". You want to rent an X-ADV 750 in Phuket, that exact machine. Fair enough, it's the one riders ask us about by name. The Honda X-ADV 750 is the top of our fleet: a 745cc adventure crossover with Honda's DCT automatic gearbox, half maxi-scooter, half trail bike, built for a lap of the island as much as for the highway towards Phang Nga. ScootZone rents it in Patong and delivers it to any hotel in Phuket. No cash deposit, insurance and two helmets included, payment at delivery. It's the most premium machine on our fleet: we hand it to riders who feel at home on a big bike, motorcycle licence in pocket, and they get the best of the island for it.

What exactly is the X-ADV 750?
Honda took the 745cc twin from the first-generation Africa Twin, put it in a tall maxi-scooter chassis and added its dual-clutch DCT gearbox. The result accelerates like a motorcycle, rides with no clutch lever and no foot shifter, and soaks up broken tarmac thanks to long-travel suspension and spoked wheels. High riding position, wide wind protection, underseat storage for a helmet. Around 236 kg with a full tank, and you feel every one of them at a standstill.
Why the DCT gearbox matters in Phuket: Patong traffic is a constant cycle of stops and uphill restarts. On a bike with a normal clutch, your left hand is done after an hour. On the X-ADV you open the throttle, you close it, that's the whole job. The gearbox shifts by itself, and shifts well.
Who it's for, and who it isn't
The X-ADV 750 is for you if you already ride a big bike at home and want the same thing on holiday: power in reserve, a commanding riding position, and the range to do 200 km in a day, two-up, with luggage. It's the pick of riders who find the TMAX too low and too road-focused, and who want to take a dirt track without gritting their teeth.
If you're new to two wheels, save it for a future trip: you'll have far more fun on the XMAX 300 or the ADV 350 from our big bike rental in Phuket page, or on an NMAX to start with. Our guide on which scooter to rent in Phuket sorts it out by rider profile. Between the TMAX and the X-ADV the line is simple: TMAX for the road and the pace, X-ADV for the height, the comfort and the rough stuff. Both cost the same.
What you can do with it in Phuket
On an X-ADV, a full lap of the island fits in a day without thinking about it: the west coast from Patong down to Nai Harn, Promthep Cape, back through Chalong and the Big Buddha. The climbs that choke a 125 simply don't register. It's also the right tool for leaving the island: the highway towards Phang Nga Bay or Khao Lak passes easily, two-up and loaded. And when the road turns ugly, cracked concrete up to a viewpoint, gravel on the last metres to a beach, that's where the X-ADV earns its adventure looks. Our favourite runs are in Phuket by scooter: 6 routes from Patong.
X-ADV 750 prices by season
| Period | Rate ฿/day |
|---|---|
| January to March (high season) | 2,100 to 3,100 |
| April and May | 1,300 to 1,900 |
| June to October (low season) | 900 to 1,100 |
| November and December | 1,100 to 1,700 |
The exact price depends on how long you rent and which machines are left: the daily rate drops for a week and again for a month. You pay when the bike is handed over, not before. To compare with the TMAX, the Ténéré 700 and the rest of the fleet, the full table is on the big bike page.

Ask the price on WhatsAppWhat's included in the price
Insurance is included, as on all our models, and we explain what it covers in two or three clear WhatsApp messages before you ride off. Two helmets come with the bike. Hotel delivery is included anywhere on the island: Patong, Kata, Karon, Kamala, Bang Tao, Rawai, Chalong, Phuket Town, the airport area. And at handover we film the bike with you from every angle, existing scratches included. That video is the reference at return: anything not on it can't be charged to you, and you keep a copy on your phone.
No cash deposit: how it actually works
Elsewhere in Phuket, a 750 often rents against 20,000 to 150,000 ฿ in cash as deposit. We don't take money as a guarantee. Instead, three things: your passport stays with us during the rental, you sign a contract, and the handover video protects both sides. At drop-off we do the video check together and you leave with your passport. We'd rather tell you this upfront than have you discover the guarantee at delivery. If you're travelling as a group, one passport covers everyone.
The licence, in short
The X-ADV 750 is our biggest machine: we hand it to confident riders with a motorcycle licence valid for the engine size, plus an International Driving Permit if your licence isn't Thai. That's also what keeps you fully covered by the insurance. Not sure where you stand? Send a photo of your licence on WhatsApp and we'll simply tell you what's possible for you. The full rules are in our guide to licences for scooters and bikes in Thailand.
High season: book early
From January to March we only have a few X-ADV 750s and everyone wants them at the same time. They go first, along with the TMAXs. If your dates fall in high season, message us now: a deposit locks in your machine, the rest is paid at delivery. Off season, the day before is usually enough.

How much does it cost to rent an X-ADV 750 in Phuket?
From 900 to 1,100 ฿/day in low season (June to October) and 2,100 to 3,100 ฿/day in high season (January to March). The daily rate drops for weekly rentals and again for monthly ones. Send your dates on WhatsApp and we confirm the exact price in under 20 minutes.

Yes, anywhere in Phuket: Patong, Kata, Karon, Kamala, Bang Tao, Rawai, Chalong, Phuket Town and the airport area. Delivery is included in the price.
Is the X-ADV 750 suitable for a beginner?
We'd say save it for later: at 236 kg and 745cc it's the biggest machine on our fleet. If you're just starting, you'll have more fun on an NMAX or an ADV 160; with some experience the XMAX 300 is the right step, and the X-ADV will be waiting next trip.
Can I book an X-ADV 750 in advance for high season?
Yes, and you should: from January to March the X-ADV 750 and the TMAX go first. A deposit locks in your dates, and the rest is paid when the bike is delivered.
